Praha

Yesterday was a great day to explore Praha (the local way for Prague).
we started the day with a tour of the city, including the castle, saw the end of changing of the guards, and saw the clock at old town square.
came back to the hotel for a rest and uploaded 565 photos to facebook.
I dont know if there is a way to upload them all on here, so see the albums on facebook.
Off to Munich today, with a stop in Regensburg for a tour and lunch.
Tomorrow is a visit to BMW and Siemens. Wednesday is a trip to Salzburg.
Back to Munich for the night, and onto Zurich for one night, before Interlaken and then Lausanne.

Prague

finally safe in Prague after a slow, blizzardy bus trip from Berlin.
Our tour of Dresden was cancelled and parts of the drive was down to 20kph.
Had a nice dinner out in Prague and now off to catch up with people in the 'appartment suite' upstairs (2 girls were lucky to get the best room!!)
we have a tour in the morning tomorrow, and free afternoon/evening, so i'll post more tomorrow.

safe in Berlin

We arrived in Berlin yesterday after 28hrs flight. was meant to be 27 but due to about 45mins delay in zurich we were running late. we then had our first meeting at Axel Springer, and went to sleep early at 6.30pm and slept til 5.30am.
Today was a long day leaving at 730am and getting back at 7.50pm, for our trip to Volkswagen in Wolfsburg. We had two presentations, a tour of Autostadt and a tour of the production plant.
Tomorrow we have a tour of Berlin, then we're off to Prague, via Dresden.
Feeling quite tired, and its quite cold, a lot of snow. and forecast for blizzards tomorrow... but hopefully all is ok.

will update again when able to get online, not sure when it'll be free again...

16.5hrs til take off!!

Ok, so i'm about to go to sleep, there are 13.5hrs til check-in, and 16.5hrs til scheduled take-off!!!

I've just packed my suitcase, and realised i forgot to get my body wash... and its a special one i can only get at certain shops, such as health food store... so a trip to Northland tomorrow morning!!

Weighed my suitcase, 20.7kg and we're allowed 23!! yay!!

So off to sleep now.
My next post will probably be from Berlin!!!

48 hours til Check-In!!!

Well i've been counting down since around 48 days, so now i'm down to 48hrs.
I'm super excited, but also very nervous.

It's not just a holiday, it's a university subject.
We're visiting head offices of some of the worlds largest companies,
the weather is freezing,
we have a 27 hour flight,
and this is the ticket to completing my degree.

So i 'think' i've got everything organised....
gotta photocopy passports, tickets, print master itinerary, and do final packing...
and only 48hrs to do it all in...
